Will’s Neck Art Print

From:  £16.95

Marking to highest point on the Quantock Hills in Somerset, Will’s Neck trig point always heralded the last leg of the walk we would do with pupils on their first training day for the Ten Tors Challenge that takes place each May. Completed on a cold Sunday every January, it always rained – always – and so I never got to fully appreciate the landscape and spectacular views during those training walks!
In the background is a loose interpretation of Hinkley Point, and beyond, the Bristol Channel and the coastline of South Wales.
This piece incorporates fragments of my own original paintings, collaged and layered to recreate this local landmark.
I was careful to honour the style of one of my earlier landscape designs – the Seven Sisters trees that stand atop Cothelstone Hill. This complementary design will perhaps appeal to lovers of the Quantocks!

This Will’s Neck art print is produced on matt 280gsm weight paper and sold unframed. Price includes p&p to UK mainland. Your landscape art print will arrive WITHOUT a Vicki Shortt watermark, which is only present in this preview.

Framing Available

Want your print ready to hang? Choose from black or white wooden frames with a smooth lacquered finish, handmade in the UK using high-quality materials and finished with glass glazing, sealed backs, and hanging cord.
