Epitomising a classical style, and built using South Somerset’s yellow hamstone to the best advantage, this distinctive building provides not only a link between the informal lawns and the Formal Gardens, but is also the perfect place to get married.
A visit to Hestercombe always leaves me wondering why I don’t visit more often. Wandering around the woodland paths, visiting the many follies and following the water courses down stream to the formal gardens and The Orangery is such a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.
