Description
An impressive and elegant building, Cannon Hall stands in 70 acres of historic parkland and gardens enjoying views out over the ha-ha towards the village of Cawthorne to the west of Barnsley. Once home to the Spencer-Stanhope family, Cannon Hall is now a public museum that stands adjacent to the well-known Cannon Hall Farm, made famous by Channel Five’s ‘On the Farm’, a tv programme that follows the farming exploits of brothers Rob and Dave Nicholson!
