Angel of the North Art Print
From: £16.95
The Angel of the North design has been revamped and reimagined with this updated version now available. The revision brings this popular landmark more in line with my much more developed digital collage landscape collection.
Located by the side of the A1 in Gateshead (Tyne & Wear), the Angel of the North is said to be the largest sculpture of an angel in the world. The contemporary sculpture, completed by Antony Gormley in 1998, and based on his own body, it is ‘viewed’ by an estimated 33 million people because of its proximity to major road and rail networks. Standing at 20m in height, and made from COR-TEN weathering steel that gives the sculpture its distinctive rusty colour, its impressive wingspan of 54m is larger than that of a Boeing 757 aircraft! Also available: Gormley’s ‘Another Place’.
This Angel of the North art print is produced on matt 280gsm weight paper and sold unframed. Price includes p&p to UK mainland. Your landscape art print will arrive WITHOUT a Vicki Shortt watermark, which is only present in this preview.
